- Less tyre-buying opportunities. Yes, you’ll slide less on the trail, enjoy better traction, and your tyres will last longer. I know. It’s annoying.
- Less visits to the chiropractor. Running wider custom rims allows you to use a lower tyre pressure, increasing comfort and decreasing fatigue and possibly resulting in less neck and back pain. Your medical aid may thank you.
- Your bike is more likely to be stolen. Custom wheels always look better than stock wheels, increasing the risk of theft. Your insurance company doesn’t want you running sexy custom wheels.
